Organizations & Teams
Organizational Growth Support for Healthcare and Mission-Driven Organizations
Growing organizations face a specific kind of pressure — the work is expanding, the stakes are rising, and the systems, culture, and leadership that got you here aren’t always built for where you’re going. We work with healthcare organizations, mission-driven companies, and growing teams to build the leadership bench, operational structure, and organizational culture that lets your people sustain the growth they’re responsible for.
Why Organizations Come to Us
Growth Exposes What Wasn’t Built to Last
Most organizations don’t struggle because their people lack commitment or their leaders lack ability. They struggle because the systems, structures, and leadership culture they built for a smaller version of themselves haven’t kept up. What worked at 10 staff starts to crack at 30. What held together in year one starts to fragment in year four.
We work with executive directors, clinical leaders, operations managers, and HR teams who can see what’s breaking and are ready to fix it — not with a report that sits in a drawer, but with real, embedded support that builds something that lasts.
What We Hear Most Often
We’re growing but everything feels chaotic and reactive.
Our leaders are capable but no one has ever actually developed them.
We have a compliance issue coming and we are not ready for it.
How We Help
Five Areas Where We Do Our Best Work
Every engagement is built around your organization’s specific stage, challenges, and capacity. Most of our work lives inside these five areas — and most engagements draw from more than one.
Leadership Development
Develop Leaders Who Stabilize Instead of Stress Their Organizations
Leadership is the single biggest variable in organizational health. We work with leaders at every level — from frontline supervisors to executive directors — to build the presence, communication skills, and decision-making capacity that makes leadership a stabilizing force.
- Trauma-informed leadership development
- Executive presence and communication
- Feedback culture and accountability
- Leadership identity and confidence
- Supervisor and middle management development
Organizational Culture
Build a Culture Your Staff Actually Want to Stay In
Culture isn’t a values poster on the wall. It’s what happens in supervision meetings, in how feedback is given, in whether staff feel safe to raise concerns. We help organizations build cultures grounded in psychological safety, honest accountability, and staff wellbeing.
- Trauma-informed workplace culture design
- Staff wellbeing and burnout prevention
- Psychological safety and relational trust
- Mission and values alignment
- Retention and staff satisfaction systems
Operational Structure
Build Systems That Support Your People Instead of Exhausting Them
Most operational problems aren’t people problems — they’re systems problems. Unclear roles, inefficient workflows, and misaligned documentation create the kind of daily friction that slowly drains your team. We help you design operational clarity from the inside out.
- Team structure and role clarity
- Internal workflow design and optimization
- Documentation systems and efficiency
- Clinical and operational alignment
- EHR and software implementation support
Compliance & Licensing
Turn Compliance From a Scramble Into a Strength
Compliance pressure is a reality for healthcare and behavioral health organizations. We help you build the policies, documentation standards, and audit-ready culture that makes oversight something you’re prepared for — not afraid of.
- Compliance mapping and audit readiness
- Medicare and Medicaid licensing support
- Licensing and accreditation preparation
- Policy development and documentation standards
- Quality assurance systems
Program Development
Programs Built to Work in the Real World — Not Just on Paper
We support organizations in designing and implementing programs that are structurally sound, trauma-informed, and aligned with both client needs and operational reality. From new program launches to curriculum refinement, sustainability planning, and financial strategy.
- Trauma-informed program design and implementation
- Group curriculum development
- Financial advising and sustainability planning
- Insurance reimbursement strategy
- Strategic planning for growth and licensing

How It Works
A Partnership Built Around Your Reality
We don’t arrive with a pre-built solution. We arrive with questions. Every engagement starts with listening and builds from what we actually learn about your organization.
Step 01
Discovery Conversation
A free call to understand your organization’s stage, challenges, and goals. We ask real questions and listen carefully before suggesting anything.
Step 02
Organizational Assessment
We take a close look at your leadership, culture, systems, and compliance landscape to find where the highest-leverage opportunities actually are.
Step 03
A Plan Built for Your Capacity
We build a practical, phased plan tailored to your timeline, budget, and organizational capacity. No bloated deliverables. No work that won’t get used.
Step 04
Embedded Support
We work alongside your team — not just hand off a report. We stay until the change is actually embedded and your people can sustain it without us.
Why Work With Us
We’ve Been Inside the Organizations You’re Trying to Build
Our founders didn’t come to this work through a textbook. Sterling and Marissa spent years inside behavioral health systems, treatment environments, and mission-driven organizations — experiencing firsthand the gap between what these organizations say they value and what they actually build.
That experience shapes everything we do. We know what it feels like to lead through a compliance audit with inadequate infrastructure. We understand burnout in clinical environments because we’ve lived it. We know what it costs an organization when leadership development is treated as a luxury. We stay until the work is done.
Our Background Includes
Behavioral health and addiction treatment
Nonprofit operations and compliance
Trauma-informed care and program design
Crisis response and clinical systems

Common Questions
What to Expect When Working With Us
What kinds of organizations do you work with?
We work with healthcare organizations, behavioral health agencies, treatment centers, nonprofits, and mission-driven companies of various sizes. The common thread isn’t sector — it’s a genuine commitment to building something better for the people inside the organization.
How long does a typical engagement last?
It depends entirely on scope. Some organizations work with us for a focused 90-day engagement on a specific challenge. Others retain us as ongoing partners for 6 to 12 months across multiple areas. We discuss timeline and scope during the discovery call and build a plan that fits your reality.
Do you work virtually or in person?
Both. The majority of our work is conducted virtually, which means we can partner with organizations anywhere in the US. For certain engagements — particularly staff training, culture work, or space design — we can work onsite. We’ll discuss what makes sense for your situation.
What does trauma-informed mean in an organizational context?
Trauma-informed organizational work means we look at your systems, culture, and leadership through the lens of how stress and psychological safety affect your staff’s ability to perform and stay. It doesn’t mean we treat your organization like a therapy group — it means we build systems that account for the humans inside them.
How much does this cost?
Investment depends on scope, duration, and the areas of support involved. We discuss this openly during the discovery call. We don’t publish a price list because every organization’s needs and capacity are different — and we believe in building engagements that are financially realistic for mission-driven organizations.
We’re a small organization with a limited budget. Can you still help?
Possibly yes. We work with organizations at various stages and budget levels. The discovery call is the honest place to have that conversation. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll tell you — and we’ll do our best to point you toward something that is.
